Ascension Wine Estate is a beautifully situated amongst the vines of Matakana, just 40 minutes north of Auckland. With our own rustic cellar door and restaurant we are the perfect location for winetasting, lunch and dinner. We also host immaculate weddings and stylish corporate events in the Belfry our fully self-contained function center, as well many locations stretched over our estate.

Service and luxury is the main focus point and to provide, cuisine and wine to our guests in the old European style. Savor our delicious pastas and risottos or improve your wine knowledge with our trained cellar door staff.
