Tripsdrill, Germany's first amusement park, is idyllically situated between forests and vineyards. The family-run company offers fun for all ages. The Swabian amusement park, which was awarded the European Star Award for "Europe's Best Amusement Park" in 2015, is less than an hour's drive from Stuttgart.

100 original attractions have been created here since 1929, including the wooden roller coaster "Mammut" and the catapult roller coaster "Karacho" – just two of the highlights for adults and older children. But there's also plenty for the little ones in Tripsdrill, since many of the attractions are designed specifically for them. The "Gaudi-Viertel" in the village street is an oversized game room and offers climbing structures and slides in all weather conditions. Many of the attractions have themes that are faithful to the motto "Schwaben anno 1880". There's also plenty of interesting information to take home, about winegrowing, the Swabian housewives or the traditional crafts. And because Tripsdrill has its origins in the hospitality industry, there's a great deal of emphasis on the quality of the food. The "Gasthaus zur Altweibermühle", a full-service restaurant, is known for its excellent regional cuisine and game specialities – all home-made according to Grandma's original recipe. The "Zur Werksküche" restaurant is brand new and is housed in an old factory building. It is located right next to the catapult roller coaster "Karacho". The interactive family attraction "Heißer Ofen" completes the areal and enthusiastic young and old.

Polar wolves, bears and many species native to Europe await visitors in the Tripsdrill "Wildparadies" right next door. You can experience the feeding up close with the gamekeepers. Even bald eagles, vultures and owls are among the inventory of the natural wildlife park. The falconry is open to tours and offers flight demonstrations in the afternoon. In outdoor pens visitors can get close to various species of deer and even feed them. For those who want to experience nature with all their senses, there is a forest adventure path, a barefoot trail and an adventure playground.

The overnight accommodation options in the Natur-Resort Tripsdrill are at once unique and adventurous. There are comfortable sheperd’s wagons directly at the Wildparadies and original tree houses hidden in the forest. The sheperd’s wagons can accommodate up to 5 people. Facilities include a small seating area with flat-screen TV and fridge, washing facilities and heating. Showers and toilets are centrally available in a modern bathhouse. The well-equipped tree houses for 2-4 people or for 5-6 people offer hotel comfort with a lounge and sleeping area, a seating area with flat-screen TV, coffee machine, fridge and a private bathroom with shower and WC. In-floor heating provides for comfortable warmth and there's even free Wi-Fi. From the porch you can hear the wolves howl in the evening – an impressive experience!
