Rillan cottage offers four star Scottish Tourist Board self-catering accommodation and is situated just ½ mile from the picturesque village of Drumnadrochit.

Maintained to the highest of standards the cottage sleeps four - consisting of two bedrooms; one has a king sized bed and the other has two single beds.

The cottage stands in its own grounds with enclosed gardens with ample off-road parking.

The views from the cottage are outstanding; the scenic Scottish Highland landscape looks towards the legendry Loch Ness.

The cottage is fully equipped with modern conveniences that ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible – home from home! Added to this the tranquility and views, make Rillan a perfect place to relax and enjoy your well earned rest.

ACCOMMODATION
Rillan is a detached property, with an enclosed garden and ample off-road parking for several cars.

The cottage is fully double glazed and centrally heated. There is plenty of hot water available for showers and washing. All rooms have thermostatically controlled radiators and the heat can easily be adjusted for your comfort.

The cottage is ideally located for visitors to the Highlands. The local grocery store is just ½ mile away that can supply food and other everyday items you might need.

BEDROOMS
There are two double bedrooms consisting of a king sized double bed and two single beds.

There is ample wardrobe space with hangers and cabinets in both rooms to ensure your clothes are well cared for.

BATHROOM
The modern bathroom has a bath; toilet; electric shower and hand basin. Hand and bath towels are provided for guests use at no extra charge.

All guests need to bring is their toothbrush!

LOUNGE
The comfortable lounge is a great place to relax after a busy day walking or sightseeing.

You can sit in comfort and look out through the large picture window and survey the magnificent hills towards Loch Ness. You quickly get a sense of the tranquility of your surroundings.

Perhaps as the evening draws in you can relax by the log fire and watch a favourite TV programme, or a DVD from the wide range provided. Perhaps listen to the radio or enjoy some music from a CD. May be just soak up the quietness - the choice is yours!

KITCHEN
A spacious kitchen incorporates a dining table and plenty of cupboard space and work surfaces . It is fully equipped including, microwave; fridgefreezer and electric cooker. There are ample saucepans, kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery to cater for every occasion.

UTILITY ROOM
A washing machine and tumble dryer are to be found in the utility room. There is also an ‘information point’ where there is a good supply of leaflets on local attractions, things to do and see; places to eat and drink. Plus other helpful information that will enhance your stay.

GARDEN
The garden is mainly laid to lawn. A bench at the front of the property affords lovely views across the hills to the loch and it’s a great place to sit and watch the world go by.
There is a small patio in a secluded part of the enclosed garden. What better place to sit on a warm summer’s evening having a drink and enjoying convivial conversation?
Off-road parking can accommodate several cars at the side of the property.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO
Rillan is ideally placed for exploring the Highlands providing easy access to many of the most popular attractions in the area.
Loch Ness is one of the most celebrated holiday destinations in the UK with magnificent landscapes and unbelievable panoramas.
Drumnadrochit village has a range of excellent shops and restaurants to suit all pockets and is home to two Loch Ness Monster Exhibitions. From Drumnadrochit you can enjoy boat trips on Loch Ness.
Inverness - ‘The Capital of the Highlands’. - is just 15 miles away. This modern, vibrant city, still retains much of its old charm and is packed with things to do and see. It boasts a modern shopping centre, cinema cathedral, cathedral, castle, ice-rink, theatre, clubs, pubs, restaurants & cafes plus beautiful walks along the River Ness.
Fort William (for Ben Nevis), the Isle of Skye, Fort Augustus and the delightful seaside resort at Nairn , or perhaps watch the dolphins at Channory Point on the BLack Ise - are all easily accessed by car.
If you do not feel like adventuring too far then there are some excellent guided walks in the Balmacaan Woods behind the cottage. Or take a leisurely stroll to the impressive Divach Falls or down to the banks of Loch Ness. You never know you might just spot ‘Nessie’!
