Estuary Fishing in Trinity Inlet, Cairns, Far North Queensland, Australia
The open waters, creeks and deep channel of the Cairns estuary system are an extremely important part of the breeding cycle of the juvenile fish. This offers exceptional fishing for the adult species in the Cairns area. This State Marine Park is a natural habitat to deep holes, mudflats, snags and drop-offs for a wide variety of fish species.
Fish species may include but not limited to Grunter, Fingermark, Blue Salmon, Queen fish, Trevally, Thread fin, Mangrove jack, Estuary cod, Bream, Golden trevally, Flathead, Hairtail, Tarpon, Mud crab and the prize catch Barramundi.

River Fishing on the Mulgrave & Russell Rivers and Mutchero Inlet
Only 40 kilometres south of Cairns, situated near Queensland`s highest mountain, Mount Bartle Freer, nestled amongst Russell River National Park has some of the most breath taking scenery in Far North Queensland, Australia.
Fish species may include but not limited to Grunter, Fingermark, Blue Salmon, Queen fish, Trevally, Thread fin, Mangrove jack, Estuary cod, Bream, Golden trevally, Flathead, Hairtail, Tarpon, Mud crab and the prize catch Barramundi.
During May, June, July and August this can fish extremely well with Giant queen fish and Giant trevally moving around the river system. Charters are limited to 4 people for popper fishing with surface lures to target these species.
Moving into September, October, November and December target species may include Trevally, Queen fish, Mangrove jack, Fingermark and the famous Barramundi. Live bait fishing is the most productive method for these fish species.

Cairns Reef Fishing on the Great Barrier Reef
Only a short distance from Cairns in Far North Queensland, Australia is numerous wreck, reefs, and islands. There are a huge variety of fish species that inhabit these waters. Fishing methods include live-bait/dead-bait fishing, bottom fishing, jigging as well as lure and popper fishing with surface lures.
Target species for Common reef species from Cairns but not limited to Cobia, Coral trout, Fingermark, Mackerel Species, Sweetlip, Trevally species, Large and Small mouth nannygai, Red Emperor to name a few.
