At ten minutes from Tours, Le Moulin Fleuri evolves outside of space and time. The only access road leaves the urbanization for an islet of greenery, where stands the secular building nowadays a Gourmet Restaurant and a Charming Hotel of 10 Rooms. Under a small Roman bridge flows the "Roulecrotte", an arm of the Indre that bathes the house. Renovated in 2010, the terrace that overlooks it allows the guests to savor the dishes of Michaël Chaplin facing this timeless landscape.
The Chef knows the house well for having grown up, his parents having held it for thirty-six years before him. In the oven and at the Moulin (Fleuri) since 2010, Michaël Chaplin and his wife Katia, bring to the place a wind of youth, while perpetuating its hospitality and culinary tradition, carried by a family atmosphere, authentic cuisine and a wine list. More than 600 references. Before his return to the source, Michaël the Chef de Cuisine worked in many other houses than the family: from La Roche Le Roy to Choiseul, Jean Bardet and Château d'Artigny, he acquired a Local colors; From Mexico to Zimbabwe via Ireland, he brought back the taste of exoticism and especially aromatics. For him - who likes to pick up the Burgundy, Bear's Garlic, Mint and Wild Fennel, fresh (and preferably regional) products are obvious.
