The museum is located in Kaunas Žaliakalnis. After the renovation, the memorial flat exposition of the opera Singer Kipras Petrauskas opened its doors to visitors presenting the house history as well as the musical performance features of both brothers – Mikas and Kipras Petrauskai. The largest part of the exhibition is devoted to the creative work and life of K.Petrauskas.
The memorial rooms are upholstered with genuine furniture; the walls are decorated with pictures gifted to the soloist K. Petrauksas on various occasions by the Lithuanian painters. One can also listen to the recordings of K. Petrauskas.
Cozy hall of the museum hosts a variety of events and concerts. The temporary exhibitions of Kaunas photographers and artists are displayed on the ground floor.
