I really do not like to be in the position to leave such a negative review, however KMT customer service is a car crash and Jonathan is a dishonest thief who has stolen our booking money. This includes transportation fees that could only be assigned to physically incurred costs, which never happened.

Due to unfortunate circumstances involving a home robbery we had to cancel our booking with KMT on 11.08.18. Our booking was for 23-26.08.18.

Below is a copy of the body of our fifth email to Jonathan at Kayak More Tomorrow.

This and all other emails and phone calls have gone unanswered for the last 6 weeks.

"Hello Jonathan,

We have been trying to get in touch with you to discuss a refund following our cancellation. KMT have not responded to us despite having opened our emails (this is possible via Boomerang Chrome app). Nor is your company contactable on the phone number provided.

While we do appreciate the efforts you personally went to with us to accommodate us with some camping equipment, we feel that the matter regarding a refund is being dealt with in a wholly unprofessional manner.

As I'm sure you will agree, various matters discussed via email during the trip planning process were challenging due to the involvement of multiple KMT staff on emails without signatures. This confused matters as I always thought I was talking to you. As soon as we spoke on the phone these matters were easily resolved.

I hope that we can resolve this matter in a similar manner.

Just to make sure the timeline of documented events is very clear, I have highlighted them clearly as follows:

1. We booked kayaking and transport on 12.02.18.

2. We booked with cancellation terms whereby cancellation was possible within a non-defined cancellation period. These are attached.*

*Exact terms:
"A substantial cost goes in preparing for our day trips. Therefore, if a client wants to cancel due to rain or any other circumstance KMT will
refund your trip fees minus 30%."

3. Cancellation was advised to you by us on 11.08.18.

4. Brand new, never-seen-before terms were provided to us on 16.08.18. You advised that you would try to re-book the dates with another group. These were not the terms of our booking but a decision made by KMT as an aside. We have never been provided with these terms.

5. On 27.08.18 you advised that you had been unable to re-book our dates with another group. This however is not relevant to our booking terms. You also inaccurately proposed that we downloaded our chosen terms from your website to suit our needs, when in fact these are very clearly the terms that you provided 12.02.18 on the date that we booked the trip. Furthermore these were the only terms available to download. Again, these are attached.

According to the terms of the booking we are due:

Refund on € 500 kayaking booking is due at 70%.
Transportation costs € 300 not incurred is due at 100%.
Total refund of € 350 + € 300 = € 650.

As a last attempt to resolve this matter amicably, and acknowledging your personal efforts to help us with some camping gear, I would like to propose a refund for all transportation costs not incurred € 300 + 50% of the kayaking booking € 250 = total refund of € 550.

This reimburses KMT € 250 for any inconvenience caused.

Hopefully you find this to be a reasonable proposal. As the season is coming to an end, a response prior to Monday 1st October 2018 is both required and reasonable.

Yours sincerely"

Please, if anybody dares to risk their money by booking with KMT, ensure that you are issued with explicit terms related to your booking.

If you don't receive these, and later encounter reasons to cancel, then Jonathan will likely issue you with new T&Cs on his own terms at a later date to suit his own selfish needs.

(I'm sure he'll have a snarky response to follow this, as he has done with previous negative reviews).
