Thomas did an excellent job, providing a lively, informative and good-humored commentary throughout our journey. Considering that it was raining, the substitute activities were excellent- the Skellig center was very interesting, and the Derrynane garden walk was definitely preferable to a no-view (in the rain) overlook. I enjoyed the slate quarry in the rain (interesting flora on the slate) and appreciated ending at mossy Torc Falls. I would have liked to hear a little more about the geology, but it's hard to work in everything of interest.
