Spa treatments can be enjoyed at any of our lodges that boast their own Relaxation Retreats offering personalised treatments to suit your specific needs. Some of the therapies available include massages, body scrubs, healing facials, manicures and waxing. The retreats pamper and allow you to relax amongst the sights and sounds of nature.

Parents travelling with young kids will be delighted to know that our Riverdene Lodge facility is the ideal place for families to spend time together. We even have a designated children’s coordinator at the lodge who plans various social, sporting, arts and cultural activities for them. And, upon arrival, each young explorer receives their own age-appropriate gift pack.

Shamwari Game Reserve is situated 75km from Port Elizabeth, in the province of the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The lodge is accessible to international and domestic travellers alike as it’s less than 100km from the local airport. From Port Elizabeth airport-Travel along Allister Miller Drive and continue onto the N2 towards Grahamstown for 2.9km. Merge onto the M4, then take exit 751B to get onto the N2, drive on for 69.5km. From here, it’s a mere 13km drive to the lodge. Continue onwards until you see the sign.

At Shamwari Game Reserve, we accommodate hundreds of holidaymakers. That’s why our lodges are situated far away from each other. It’s important to know beforehand which lodge you’re staying at, in order to help plan your transportation accordingly.
