Tucked away amidst the rolling green pastures of a successful dairy farm that dates back to the 1800s, Fordoun Hotel is one of the Midland Meander's most superlative retreats. Guests can unwind in one of 22 luxury suites, some of them with exceptional views over the dam or the mountains. Each suite features an ensuite bathroom, underfloor heating, satellite television and a private veranda. New to Fordoun is the Fordoun Village, a sustainable eco agri tourism development that caters for families. The village consists of 9 upmarket self catering chalets, a magnificent multi functional venue, and interactive farming activities that all surround a cricket field. Created in synergy with the Hotel in order to cater for the family market.

The Skye Bistro offers a mouth-watering selection of seasonal dishes, while the Fordoun Spa offers a wide range of treatments in an atmosphere of tranquillity. The spa also boasts a heated swimming pool, gym, sauna, rasul room and a number of professional beauty therapists. The hotel offers a range of outdoor adventures that include mountain biking, fly fishing and the opportunity to visit the famous herb garden of traditional healer Dr Ndlovu.
