When it comes to dining out in Kampala, few restaurants can deliver to the standard of Le Chateau Brasserie Belge. Already well established in the restaurant scene, Le Chateau recently underwent a complete overhaul, transforming the environment from the rustic African décor it was known for, to something much more contemporary.
The restaurant now features slick stone facing, sections of lush garden incorporated into the seating area and a trellised patio encircling the garden perimeter. The cuisine retains its standard for great value and the king-size portions it is famous for. But with the arrival of their new chef straight from the heart of Antwerp, the diners and their taste buds are taken on a slightly more adventurous gastronomic journey, combining local flavors and delicacies with a strong Belgian influence to create a truly unique and surprising dish.
Don’t forget to refresh your palate with a hearty, traditional Belgian beer – you will not find another like it! At least not in this city.
