Started in 1932 by Joao Fortunato Lobo, the grandfather of the current owner Jude Lobo in the very same location as a Hotel with a few tables for the restaurant.
Grew in popularity for the fresh seafood and traditionally prepared Goan food by Jude's mother Maria Santana Lobo, who's recipes are followed till date.
The place also has candle light seating on the beach and live music too.
