Surf is Up Bali is a Surf School in Bali and especially in the Canggu, wider Kuta area. Whatever your level - beginner, intermediate, advanced - and age - from 4 to literally 65 years old - you can enjoy a 2 hour surfing lesson. This is a small group lesson with no more than 2 people of the same ability level per surf guide. This maximizes your surfing experience and safety inside and outside of the water. Your surf instructors love teaching people how to surf and have extensive surf teaching experience. They know the breaks in Bali inside out. You will learn the correct technique and catch as many waves as possible by always being in the right spot, minimizing paddling time.

Each surf lesson includes:

PICK UP & DROP OFF :
The surf lesson includes pick up & drop off from/to your hotel or villa - provided you stay in the Canggu and Seminyak areas.

SELECTION OF SURF SPOT:
They'll then take you to the best surf spot in Bali for your surf level, taking into consideration the surf conditions, including wind and swell. If possible they’ll take you to the nearby beaches in Canggu - these cater for all surf levels - as the objective is to maximise the time in the water and minimise time on the road. If the surf spots in Canggu don’t work that day, no worries at all. With a choice of more than 60 surf spots, there is always a spot in Bali that’s just perfect for you.

THEORY CLASS:
Once at the beach, there is a 15-minute theory class to explain the basics of surfing. Understanding how to pop up and where to stand on your board is fundamental to a good surf. They will also explain how each spot works, including where to get in and out of the water, and where you should stay while you’re in the water.

SURF LESSON IN THE WATER:
It’s now time to jump in the water! During the 2-hour surf lesson, the surf instructor will be right next to you at all times. This way you will always feel safe. Staying in the right spot will guarantee maximum fun and let you catch as many waves as possible, often from your very first lesson.

SURF LESSON INCLUSIONS & EXTRAS:
The surf lesson also includes surf gear: board and lycras. The board you will be given will fit your needs as the team will first discuss with you and understood your level before you are given a surf board. They can also take pictures and videos if you wish. Just let them know and they will organise it for you.
