Big Buddha Trekking.
This program is ideal for people who like to hike, enjoy the flora and fauna of the Rainforest or who enjoy breathtaking views.

Our trek begins on the slopes of the mountain where Big Buddha sits and takes you to Phuket’s Big Buddha. There you can explore and enjoy the best views in Phuket. After touring the area around Big Buddha, we go to visit the biggest Buddhist Temple in Phuket - Wat Chalong. Our next stop is to visit an organic farm and have lunch with a choice of many organic foods. On this tour you can get a monk’s blessings and hopefully meet new friends and enjoy some fresh fruit along way.
Duration: Half Day or 5 hours

Elevation: from 75 meters above Sea Level to 375 meters above Sea Level

Program:

Start at 10:00 AM: Meet at CC’s Hideaway overlooking the Andaman Sea. CC’s is Phuket’s hillside oasis located 75 meters above the sea level about 500M from the Karon Municipality Post Office. All participants meet in the lobby and get instructions, water, and raincoats and sign waiver forms. Please wear appropriate footwear knowing it may be muddy in spots even if it is not raining the day of the trek.

10:30 AM: Jungle Trek starts. It will take from 70 to 95 minutes, depending on weather conditions and the physical condition of the participants. Along the trek you will be introduced to some of the plants and trees we encounter. Always be on the look-out for monkeys and other animals. Our professional guide will explain how the locals manage to live in such a beautiful but sometimes dangerous environment.

11:30 AM: We stop for a short break at a View Point to catch our breath and to enjoy the stunning views of Karon and some fresh coconut water served from a coocnut.

12:00 AM: We visit Big Buddha exploring on our own, and receive a monks blessings if we choose to. (Please leave donation if you receive a blessing, but of course it is not required.)

12:45 AM: CC’s shuttle will pick you up and take you to Wat Chalong.

13:00 PM: We visit Wat Chalong and learn more about Buddhism and Phuket History.

13:30 PM: CC’s shuttle will take us to the Organic Farm.

13:45 PM: Learn about organic farming and enjoy a lunch made from the organic greens growing around you.

15:30 PM Return to your hotel.
