Bike and Hike Limited is a family owned business. We run day trips where we show you some of the best sights by Bike or Hike and also offer sightseeing trips for those of you that would prefer a more relaxing day. We operate within a radius of one and a half hours driving time from Auckland CBD. We can pick you up from your accommodation or designated pick up points within Auckland CBD. Our goal is to show visitors to Auckland the local sights which include a Rain Forest full of Waterfalls and single track cycle trails and beautiful Black sand beaches all within 40 mins drive of Auckland CBD.

We cater for just about everyone, so if you are an experienced outdoor group or a family group who would like to see the beautiful New Zealand scenery we will ensure you get the best experience possible that suits your needs.

Pick up and drop off service for The Hillary Trail.

We supply all transport, safety helmets and bikes for cycling tours. Our bikes are fitted with a standard water bottle cage to hold your personal water bottle. In regards to clothing, thin layers are best so you can take layers on and off if you need to along the way. For your upper body we advise moisture wicking T-shirts which are recommended over cotton products, loose fitting shorts and closed in shoes with a good tread. We advise carrying such items as sunscreen, a light raincoat, water, personal medication and money for cafe and gallery visits in a small day back pack. (Day packs are provided on request)
