Founded by John Belsham in 1992, Foxes Island Wines has been producing single vineyard, cellar aged wines for over 25 years.

A specialist in Pinot Noir, we also produce Chardonnay, Dry Riesling and a sur lie aged Sauvignon Blanc in our single vineyard range.

The only winery tasting room in Auckland we are conveniently situated in the Ponsonby neighborhood and a stone's throw from some of the city's best shopping and restaurants.

Enjoy a casual wine tasting with friends or for more personalized visits, semi-private and private wine tastings may be booked in advance. For larger groups, we are able to accommodate up to 50 people.

In addition to great wines, we offer a wide range of wine and spirits crystal glassware, decanters and accessories.

Foxes Island is named after the English explorer, William Fox who named a tributary island in Marlborough, Foxes Island. Fox Glacier also takes its name from the same man.
