I specialise in exclusive Private wine tasting tours to Waiheke Island wine producers for one up to a maximum of six people. Depending on which tour you book you will be able to choose either the cellar doors, or the area of Waiheke you wish to visit for premium wine tastings, and subject to availability add a lunch at a vineyard or a local restaurant of their choice. Most tours do include some platters or shared plates with the wine tasting.

To help you decide which to visit you can use the links on my website. If you are unsure then I am happy to make recommendations, or simply pick the best available on the day of each tour.

Alternatively you could try one of my small Group tours which are available on all days. These cater for a minimum of two and a maximum of six people who can all book independently. There are three different types of group tours but on each you will visit the best three cellar doors open on that day for premium wine tastings where available. Some group tours include a light lunch or platters but the Sunday Tastings Tour does not.

For those who are not interested in wine tasting I am also available for private sightseeing tours of Waiheke Island. These tours can be designed to meet your needs and will be charged on a per hour basis.

At present I can only do one tour, Private or Group, per day and that will be based on the first booking I receive. Full details on each of the different tours I offer are on the Tours page of my website.

I am offering a discrete service with an unbranded Mercedes Benz minivan and depending on the type of tour will collect you from either your local accommodation, from a ferry terminal, or the local airfield. At the end of the tour you will then be taken back there or to any other location on the island that does not require four-wheel access.

Icon Wine Tour – visit three top producers and enjoy a glass of wine with food at each location. 1-6 people

Two, Three, Four or Five Cellar Door -visits and enjoy Premium Wine Tasting where available. One serving of platters or small plates are offered on Three and Four Cellar Door tours, and two servings on Five Cellar Door tours. 1-6 people.

On all the above tours, you get to choose which cellar doors we go to. If you are not familiar with the wine from the island I ask what sort of wine you enjoy and what you prefer re the tasting experience, scenery etc and make recommendations and you give sign off.

Set Itinerary Wine Tour - visit Three Cellar Doors that I choose for Premium tastings where available, although if you wish you can select eastern or western ends of the island (just in case you have already been to Waiheke). Minimum 2 up to 6 people. There is no food included in the cost of this tour.

On all of the above I am happy to book lunch for you at your expense. If you would like to have lunch, and you don’t want platters or small plates where they are included in the price, I will reduce the tour price per each serving of platters and small plates you would normally receive.

All tours include sightseeing and you will receive bottles of mineral water. Start and finish times are flexible as I only operate one tour per day the only limitation being the operating hours at each cellar door or restaurant.
