In the heart of 350 acres of lush farmland, yet only 10 minutes from Rotorua city centre, you’ll find New Zealand’s Agrodome.

FARM SHOW
For over 45 years, visitors from all over the globe have come to the Agrodome to see our world-famous Farm Show, starring a cast of talented animals – not just sheep! Our remarkable farm dogs will amaze you, as they demonstrate their ability to respond to commands and keep those sheep (and ducks!) in line!
If a hands-on experience is what you want, jump up on stage for the opportunity to feed the baby lambs or even hand-milk a cow!
Your ticket to the show includes access to the Farmyard Nursery, home to the smallest, cutest animals at the Agrodome. Pet and have your photo taken with cute lambs and other baby farm animals. Then pop across to the herding area to watch a free live dog trial after the show!
The Agrodome is one of New Zealand’s must-see attractions, loved by all ages and open in any weather, 365 days a year.
Three live Farm Shows daily at 9:30am, 11:30am and 2:30pm – 1 hour in duration. Value combo available with the Farm Tour.

FARM TOUR
The Agrodome is located in the heart of a real 350-acre working farm. Join us for a guided tour of the farm, animals and our orchard.
Climb aboard the all-weather, all-terrain vehicle as we begin the tour. Along the way, there are fascinating things to learn - and a few laughs too!
You’ll get to hand-feed and take photos with all sorts of friendly animals, including Romney sheep, cattle, deer, llamas, ostrich, pigs and alpacas.
You’ll also explore our fruit orchard and olive grove and have the chance to taste natural kiwifruit juice and delicious sweet honey that comes from the farm. Hands-on, entertaining and educational – kids and adults alike love the Farm Tour. Remember to bring your camera!
Four Farm Tours daily at 10:30am, 12:10pm and 3:40pm, any weather. Tour is one hour in duration and fully guided.

BACK COUNTRY ADVENTURE
The Agrodome now provides an exclusive new tour. On that takes you off-road and off-track, away from the crowds and into an incredible adventure.
This is as true a back country experience as you can get. Hosted and driven by an authentic Kiwi farmer on our working farm, you’ll tour the wider reaches of the property on LUV’s (light utility vehicles). These vehicles can traverse almost anything ideal for accessing some truly incredible panoramic views of Lake Rotorua and Mt Ngongotaha.
Here you’ll experience everything from serene pasture and paddocks to scenic wetland and orchards.
There are also steep hills to get the heart pounding just that little bit faster. There is a visit to a working shearing shed and get the inside knowledge of a local farmer providing a first-rate education on our world-class farming systems.
Our new off-road farm tours are conducted on the latest model Viking VI Yamaha LUVs. These vehicles can go anywhere. Which is just as well, because that’s exactly what we do.
TOUR TIMES
Daily at 10:45am, 12:15pm and 3:45pm. Check in and safety briefing 15 minutes prior to departure. Experience is one hour in duration.

NEW: Clydesdale Experience
Jon Boy, Cid & Egon are three famous horses with a penchant for movie roles. They have recently clip clopped their way down from their old stomping ground in Devonport to their new home at the Agrodome. Take a step back in time and join us on a 30 minute journey to discover the origins of these majestic beauties. Climb aboard an authentic wagon and enjoy a laid-back trip around the Agrodome Farm. Bring along your camera and get some amazing photos with the Clydesdale Team.

This experience does not run on Mondays. If the weather is looking bad, the horses may not be running - call us if you would like to check if the trips are running or not.
