Gisborne’s Sunshine Brewery has been turning out delicious batch-brewed beer using all natural ingredients since 1989 and with 18 taps and a huge range of beer (including specialties, rarities and weekly releases), we're sure we can find something to please even the most discerning tastebuds.

Our brewery is found in a great location, just 100 up from Gisborne's sun-drenched Waikanae Beach.
Guided tours are available, and are essential for the beer enthusiast.  We’ll show you round, talk you through the brewing process, and let you taste the results! 

We have a relaxed bar area from which you can view the brewing process in action, and a deck out the front for those long, lazy Gisborne summer afternoons.  There is a light food menu with a selection of tasty, locally made options chosen to compliment our beers.

Locals and visitors are all welcome, whether it’s for a structured tasting session, to refill your empties or an after work drink. Sunshine beers compliment Gisborne’s legendary long hot summers and easy times at the beach.
