Kippilaw House is a comfortable friendly Boutique accommodation and fine dining Bed and Breakfast establishment.
We are a leisurely 10 minute stroll through the marina to the CBD of Picton. We ensure that our three course breakfasts are as important as the very comfortable Beds.
On the ground floor we offer a disable friendly King size bed room 38 sq with French doors opening out on to the covered verandas and gardens with edible fruits a plenty in summer time.
Private bathroom facilities and a separate lounge are also included. All windows in the house are double glazed
The Picton View Suite is a 65.5 sq suite on the first floor is very private and spacious. Your own sitting room/library has a sofa bed for children under 8 to go free. A large private bathroom is also included with a separate entrance for the children.
Afternoon tea is severed in your room on the day of arrival this is left covered if you are arriving later. a la carte dinner is available on request a three course dinner with three choices per course is $80 pp which includes a complementary bottle of Marlborough wine between two.
All food is locally sourced the menu changes daily most of the vegetables and fruits are grown in our own gardens .
Kippilaw House operates a cooking school for all levels of cooking and is well attended and can be a lot of fun. We prepare the food then enjoy the lunch with wine or juice included.
We are always willing to collect or drop off at the train or ferries just ask please. Margaret and Bill your hosts are professional hospitality trained, Margaret has been a professional contract caterer chef for the last 35 plus years. Bill is an excellent mine hosts and perfect on detail and information. We welcome children in the home, children are part of our future.
