Lochiel is first and foremost a vineyard, producing approximately 600 cases per year of award winning Chardonnay, Merlot/ Malbec blend and Syrah.
Our calciferous clay loam soil and the general terroir of our beautiful valley produce some very different wines which will surprise even the most discerning taster. Our wine is made by our son Rob Cameron of Invivo fame - he is passionate about quality and so although we may be small your winetasting experience will be delightfully memorable.
We are also offer bed and breakfast to those who wish to stay a little longer. Our home and guest wing is comfortable and generous, with top quality fittings and bed linen for your comfort. Breakfast is included - cereals, home made yoghurt and breads, fresh juice from locally grown oranges, preserves and your choice of eggs, sausage, bacon plus much more, all cooked the way you like it. If you have special dietary requirements, we will do our very best to cater to your needs. All our guests are free to roam the property, taste the wine, and enjoy our beautiful valley.
