Wanaka Beerworks is the oldest operating Brewery in the town, established in 1998 and currently owned by a couple from Clyde the Brewery is locally owned and operated with all our Beer being produced in our Micro Brewery on site adjacent to the Toy and Transport Museum at Wanaka Airport.
We supply mostly just the Wanaka, area and parts of the Upper Clutha and produce a small range of popular and exciting craft beers year-round as well as one-off limited edition brews from time to time.
One of the first recipes ever created at Wanaka Beerworks, the Brewski Pilsner, has become a local staple and is highly popular in the town closely followed by several other beers from the range and also recently joined by our new Dry Apple Cider.
We have a Tasting Room on site and do Beer Tastings at any time when we are open (1100-1700)
We also operate tours daily at 2pm which take around 45 minutes, touring the Brewery itself, learning about the history of the Brewery, how Beer is made and having a chance to taste a variety of beers from the range.
