Deluxe Rooms
The 16 spacious Angel Deluxe Rooms are richly decorated with Colonial and Asian details, all with partial ocean and jungle view from their terraces or balconies, all are equipped with modern commodities: A/C and two ceiling fans, cable TV, WiFi access, mini bar, safety box, coffee maker, private bathroom with bathtub/shower and hairdryer, alarm clock, desk and telephone. Deluxe Rooms have one queen size bed or two beds (queen + full size). These rooms are located in front of the infinity edge swimming pool, besides to be closed to the front desk, restaurant and parking. Deluxe rooms are highly recommended by our guests specially for romantic vacations.

Standard – Jungle Rooms
Our 6 Jungle rooms are made of wood decorated in Caribbean rustic style with private balconies looking at the tropical forest, an ideal spot for birds and wildlife watching. These rooms are equipped with A/C and ceiling fan, mini bar, safety box, cable Tv, private bathroom with shower and telephone, have one full size bed or two twin beds.

This complex is away from all public areas, for this reason jungle rooms are recommended for adventurous young people and all those you are looking for affordable options. The access is by stairs (about 40 steps) and there is also a ramp, this rooms are directly located in the middle of the Rain Forest, away from the main building, giving them a sense of extreme privacy. They have no ocean view.


La Palapa Restaurant

The Palapa Restaurant at Hotel Cuna del Angel is the first international gourmet cuisine 100% Gluten Free restaurant in Costa Rica, creating a varied menu. Intolerant to gluten costumers would enjoy international dishes like a delicious porcini mushroom and truffle cream, a spinach tagliatelle pasta with artichokes, a flavored dish of chicken breast slices Hindu style, pork with tamarind sauce semi hot, exotic shrimps cooked in saffron and for dessert, an exquisite chocolate “tortino” or a crepe suzette, these are only some of a large selection of dishes. The kids can delight their palates with pasta, chicken or beef fajitas. All our dishes have extraordinary quality, so tasteful, that our customers, celiac or not, won´t notice the difference.

At the same time, while turning the restaurant into a 100% gluten free one, also at the “Finca Heartsong”, a project has been developed, where ingredients are produced by permaculture, katuk leaves, blueberry, hibiscus, gotu kola, spinaches, Okinawa, Vietnamese cilantro, basil, carrots, lettuce, cucumber, sweet pepper, little radish, tomatoes, parsley, cauliflower, garlic and in the open air the fruits like passion fruit, bananas, oranges, cocoa, coconut, lemon, pineapple, star fruit, besides of string beans, oregano, cassava, plantains and coffee. We need to stand out also that we have hens for the morning eggs, goats, rabbits, tilapia, biodigestor, and 10 honeycombs from which we extract fresh honey.
