Since 1. square in 2013, to DM for professional cooks, it surged to 31 year old Michael “Miv” P. As co-owner and chef at CANblau tapas bar in Aalborg, Michael, together with his talented kitchen team thrilled customers with innovative and rage-filled tapas. CANblau tapas bar will still, after over the floor of the Restaurant Tabu, be the focal point of Michael “Miv” P.

The genuine love of North Jutland commodities, ranging from homeland in Hirtshals and to the South of the Limfjord, has characterized Michael “Miv” ‘s career. A total of 62 TV programs in the series “Food with Miv and Miller”, a nice career as a chef first Restaurant Glass House and later Restaurant Villa West in Lønstrup, has placed Michael solidly in the førefeltet of North Jutland’s top chefs.

With the takeover of the Restaurant Tabu on Vesterå in Aalborg, will Michael break out of its Spanish kitchen Wednesday to Saturday evening in order to create a unique experience at the Restaurant Tabu, where Northern Jutland niche commodities and intransigence will be unbreakable dogmas. MIV said: “I am crazy to become more closely acquainted with the producers of local products, which are just south of the fjord”.

The concept will be a regular

Wednesday and Thursday, 5 dishes menu incl. 5 wines and light snacks for DKK 750.

Friday and Saturday are screwed further up for the experience and the choice of raw materials, 6 dishes including. 6 wines and a wide selection of snacks for DKK 1,250.

All days it is also possible to choose in the menu, 3 dishes and up – there to explore a comprehensive and personal wine list.

A great side benefit, with the takeover of the Restaurant Tabu, is that our own young chefs and students in CANblau tapas bar from both Aarhus and Aalborg, need not travel to Copenhagen to try their hand at a precision kitchen at a very high level with high ambitions.

Restaurant Tabu has room for 40 guests per evening, just as there is a possibility of larger companies, seven other days.
