About the model railway museum Semaforo Kouvola
This scenery was built in 1999, it was designed & built by the German company Brilmayer in Ingelheim, in the scale of 1:87, which corresponds to H0 Scale. Originally this was made for private use by Märklin collector in Holland. The electronic control system is based on the Märklin Digital system from 1986, which is operated by the control software SoftLok of Schapals. The digital decoder software is always kept update at all times, the upgrades are manually installed. This software allows us to 4 different operating modes to drive, are there; manually, semi-manually, automatically, and finally the simulation of special situations during driving within a schedule. In 2003, the beautifully designed Modelrailroad Scenery was shipped without cars and trains and even without a computer from Frankfurt to Finland. When it finally arrived safely in Finland, it was put in a secluded garage, Into a 4-year slumber. The new owner could, however for want of facilities, when it was awaken from its deep sleep in 2007 and was brought back to life with new pieces added to it. The new owner could, however for want of facilities, unfortunately, only in the year you get now has a name: "Everywhere" ( FI = "Jossakin") and was decorated with hundreds of small figures, cars and funny scenes. The 50 passengercars are to some extent filled with small seated figures which make the cars look more real. The landscape as such is because of lack of space, no city or train station can be modeled. However, all buildings and all trains and locomotives are modeled in reality, and correspond exactly to the scale of 1:87. The locomotive and cars were manufactured by renowned manufacturers such as Marklin, Trix, Roco, Fleischmann, Piko, Rivarossi, Jouef, Lionel, and Lima. After it´s long slumber the new own gave it a new life and added some sparkly to it by cleaning and repairing it. Here run on a track length of about 200m, across the 27 passenger and freight trains from 4 regions. Different time periods and 8 different countries. In a depot with a roundhouse, 6 steam locomotives are stationed independently in and out. More than 100 points and signals were installed around the scenery. Drive operation is semi-manual and automatic operation according to the real railway, this works in block unit operation with distant signal and main signal, request, leave and release of the route segments depending on the state of the busy display in the corresponding section of track. The State Railways of the countries; Finland, Sweden, Russia, Germany and Switzerland, & countries, such as USA, Canada, France, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Spain, etc.
