The museum is a specialized museum for handicraft covering entire Finland. It's a place where skills and people meet as well as an interesting destination for visitors. The museum covers all techniques of handicraft, from house building to lace making and from forging to the design of ornaments. A centre for national costumes and a centre well versed in the conservation of textiles form part of the museum.
In the museum you can also find Museum Shop witch sells Finnish crafts that make excellent gifts.
Opening hours:
Tue-Sun form 11 am to 6 pm, closed on Mondays.
On summer months (June-August) open Tue-Fri 11-18, Sat 11-16, Sun 11-18.
Last entrance 15 minutes before closing.

Adults 6 €
Students 3 €
Children under 18 have free entrance.
Free entrance on Fridays.
