The Sir John Monash Centre (SJMC) sits near the village of Villers-Bretonneux, just over 140 kilometres north-east of Paris, and is an easy day trip.

The SJMC is a dynamic and innovative First World War memorial centre and tourist attraction, telling the story of Australia’s involvement on the Western Front battlefields during the First World War.

Set on the grounds of the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery in northern France, and adjacent to the Australian National Memorial, the SJMC is one of the key sites of the Australian Remembrance Trail on the Western Front.
