MeZen Larisa is the second restaurant by MeZen, opened in Larisa city - Central Greece, 2 years after the first establishment located in Volos city 63km away.
Both restaurants follow the 100 years of tradition in Volos city serving "Tsipouro" , a grape alcoholic drink, along with meze.
There is no menu, and the customers are ordering Tsipouro, followed by mainly seafood meze in small plates with no extra charge, depending on what the fishermen provided the same day. With every new round of Tsipouro, more and different mezes are coming at the table, and the kitchen can handle over 60-70 different mezes. Apart from the fresh fish, we specialize in preserving, maturing and fermenting vegetables, fish and meat, starting with traditional methods, but also using modern techniques, creating new recipes. The meal closes usually with meat and eggs, or with barrel aged Tsipouro and sweets.
