The organic farm Karlsstaðir is where husband and wife Svavar and Berglind live and run the HAVARÍ café, food production and art shed. Soon they will also open a guesthouse. HAVARÍ produces Bulsur vegetarian (vegan) sausages and Sveitasnakk chips from home grown rutabaga (turnips) and kale. Svavar also play music under the name Prins Póló.

Havarí café focuses on homemade organic vegetarian and vegan dishes. We also serve good organic coffee. The Havarí café is not all about food, its also a music and art venue.
