La Fraschetta di Mastro Giorgio is located in Testaccio, a traditional district (rione) and is inspired by the so called Fraschette.
Mastro Giorgio is the passionate and namely “the master” in selecting regional and national products, served from the counter and the kitchen with experience and true care for his guests.
We serve traditional roman dishes, using fresh and high quality seasonal products, preferably organic, sourced from rewarded and selected National suppliers, such as Artisanal Pasta Mancini (paccheri), Latteria Perenzin (dairy, cow cheese San Pietro in beeswax), Macelleria Brarda (butcher, smoked ox), San Biagio Brewery (craft abbey beer), Buffalo mozzarella from Paestum, Azienda Agraria Viola (farmhouse, organic extra-vergin olive oil).
According to tradition, “must try” daily specials are freshly prepared every day.
Desserts are handmade with premium raw materials still following traditional receipts.
