“Treno dei Sapori” is a new and innovative means of transport, wanted and funded by Trenord. The train is composed by two orange wagons towed by a diesel electric locomotive. It has been created in order to promote the region of Franciacorta, lake Iseo and Camonica Valley, along the railway line Brescia-Edolo.
Talking about the “Treno dei Sapori” it means talking about a multi-sensorial travel, which involves and stimulates every sense of the tourist.
In order to let the tourists get completely absorbed by the region, during the journey, visitors can admire the beauties of the landscape, sitting comfortably and tasting typical products and wines, served by expert sommeliers. In this way, sight and taste become the protagonist of the journey.
The train leaves and arrives from/at Iseo (BS - Italy) railway station.
