Ølhallen – The Pub

Mack’s brewpub Ølhallen is Tromsøs oldest pub and is currently serving Norwegian quality beer from 67 taps. ”The Hall”, as it was called in its younger years was a place of sanctuary. At that time, it was teeming with fishermen, farmers and townspeople.

Today Ølhallen is one of the most iconic places in Tromsø. It’s a place where townspeople of all ages meet and taste the best beers brewed by Mack – The world’s most northern brewery.

Kjeller 5 – The Shop

Mack’s brewshop Kjeller 5 is the latest addition to Ludwig Mack Brygghus. Here you will find all the products that are available from Mack Brewery. We also sell specially chosen beers from local breweries, where high quality is in focus.

Ever felt like you want to make your own beer but don’t know where to start? Don’t worry. We have malt, hops and the other raw materials you might need for you own home brewing. The employees are very knowledgeable and can help you make your own perfect beer, whether it’s a sweet Porter or a crisp Pilsner. Apart from beer and home brewing products you can also buy a variety of gifts and as well as print your own personal label for your favorite beer.

Guided tour

In the autumn 2012 Mack moved the main brewery after being located in Tromsø for 135 years. In our old buildings in Tromsø we have daily tours (weekdays) where you get to hear Mack’s story, both history and present. You will be given a short presentation of the raw materials that goes into beer, the brewing process, Mack’s beer range and a visit to our microbrewery.

• 170,- / person (60min) includes two tastings. (min. 10 guests)
• 210,- / person (60min) includes three tastings. (min. 10 guests)
• 250,- / person (60min) includes four tastings. (min. 10 guests)

During weekdays we do drop-in tours at 15.30, and from June 20th – August 20th we expand with another tour at 14.00.
