Centro Multimeios is an emblematic buiding located in the center of the lovely city of Espinho.
Due to its characteristics , presents ideal conditions for events, such as: Music , Visual Arts , Literature, Cinema and simultaneously has a very strong connection to schools and students, thanks to the Planetarium and it's strong Science mission and development.
Presents regular movie screenings (2D or 3D), exhibitions, concerts, conferences, film festivals (Cinanima - International Animated Film Festival / FEST - New Directors, New Films Festival / IFF - Immersive Film Festival, are held here), lectures, planetarium screenings (2D and 3D - it's the only portuguese planetarium equiped with 3D immersive projection system), as well as Astronomy related activities, such as Observing the night sky or the Sun, with our telescope located in the top of the building.
Most of the activities have a ticket entrance, but you can visit the builing inside and check our exhibition, while you drink a nice coffee at our cafeteria. Free public Wi-Fi available.
