I am Tatiana a licensed private tour guide offering tours & shore excursions in St. Petersburg, Russia for Small groups, Seniors, Families with children, People with restricted mobility, and Single travellers.
The motto of the days or hours we will spend together will be comfort and fun. Only us, at a pace you feel comfortable with and flexible with our plans - we will see all the famous sites and beyond with comfort and attention you could never get with a group tour. In the evening you can visit the ballet and opera - or if you wish do something more unusual. We will combine knowledge and a sense of humor. We will chat about everyday Russian life – in communist times and now – all in excellent English.
My tours and excursions are individual and private. Other guides and tour companies may quote for you joining one of their group tours. Being on your own with a guide saves you from the hidden, yet still realistic risks of group tours - for example everyone in the group will have to go at the same pace, which can cause problems for anyone with walking difficulties - and the others in the group who have to slow down or miss things to accommodate them, being together with somebody else's small children might be not great, some people need the toilet more often than others and the toilet lines in museums are quite long. Joined groups - even small ones - reduce not only the cost, but also comfort. It takes only one wrong person in a group to spoil it all.
I can offer a wide range of options - from a competitively priced 2-3 day standard shore excursions to customized week long tours. And not just the highlights of St. Petersburg, but for those with enough time we can also visit the beautiful provincial city of Novgorod and see how locals live in countryside villages. Whether you are looking for an energetic intensive tour, or something more relaxed - I can offer you a private option that I'm sure you will find appealing.
