Hotel Šachtička has been serving its quests for more than 26 years. It has been our aim to offer high quality services for a wide range of guests from the very beginning. We strongly hope that our goals has been fulfilled and as a result of this both young and old, individual guests and families with children as well as the teambuilding clientele feel themselves well in our family hotel.

Our hospitability and the beauty of the surrounding nature can compete with that of the alpine mountain hotels and as one of our guest has expressed: It's like being in the film „Angel in the Mountains".
Our family style mountain hotel offers accommodation in 44 double-bedrooms and 3 apartments.

Nature - the most beautiful playground

The location of our hotel is unique asi t is situated right in the middle of nature. Nature is the best playground not only for children.

We have created a small paradise for children within the hotel area where children can happily and safely play in the sand grounds, the jungle gym, use the seesaws, trampolines the wooden castle. One of the most colorful places is the farm yard with ponies, donkeys, sheep and other domesticated animals close at hand to children to pat them, feed them or ride them. Isn’t it a real experience?!

Active relaxation

Everyone can find his/her way of relaxation in our hotel yard. Some play mini football, tennis or basketball, others enjoy playing petanq or badminton. Right behind the hotel in the forest there is a possibility to play paintball as well. If the weather is unpleasant then you can continue playing in our well-equipped multi-functional sports hall.

Nature offers good conditions for organizing outdoor teambuilding activities as the hotel is located right in the middle of the Šachtičky ski center. You put on your skies right in front of the hotel and ready to go up the hill or use one of the many cross country tracks. Your children may enjoy ski or snowboard lessons and the smallest ones might go sleighing or building snowman just a few steps from the hotel.

Hotel Šachtička is famous for its excellent and various foods. Our guests can enjoy their meal in our hotel restaurant, bar, numerous banquette halls or our typical Slovak shepherds 'cottage.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the hotel restaurant unless you wish at a different place. We serve mostly meals representing our Slovak cuisine in a modern way. We also specialize at Hungarian and international cuisine. Our chefs are ready to fulfill any of your requests.
