Cemal Ranch is a family owned and operated business, located just minutes from the centre of Ortahisar village in the heart of Cappadocia,Turkey. Cemal, along with his father and brother, have been riding since before they could walk and are experts on the riding trails in and around Cappadocia. Their horses are lovingly cared for, sure footed and trail-wise and suitable for all levels of riders from beginner to advanced.

The ranch itself feels like you are 'discovering a little known secret' as despite its close proximity to the village, it's located in a spectacular private 'fairy chimney' valley with amazing panoramas across the countryside. With rustic open air pavilions, sweeping views and barely a road in sight, Cemal Ranch is the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a glass of Turkish tea before or after your horse tour .Cemal takes pride in offering a safe riding environment with well-trained horses and his experience as a guide will ensure your ride is a highlight of your Cappadocian visit.

1-2HR HORSE TOUR
Most guests find our 2- or 4-hour rides are the best to enjoy the beautiful unique Cappadocian landscape. We ride far from the main roads and tourist areas on trails that wind through amazing rock formations and spectacular ‘fairy chimney’s' in some of the most beautiful valleys in Cappadocia. Our ride takes us through local apricot orchards and traditional vineyards with the chance to explore rock hewn Hallacdere Byzantine monastery.
4HR HORSE TOUR
Our 4 hour horse ride offers the unique opportunity to explore the secluded Üzengi Valley, famous for it’s amazing rock carved pigeon homes, natural mineral spring and meandering streams. We ride through secluded Pancarlik Valley, the beauty of Kepez Valley, and take in the magnificent panorama of Uchisar rock castle.
FULL DAY TOUR
We also offer longer, full-day rides that include many of the famous sites and valleys of Cappadocia, as well as those more secluded and fascinating valleys that are seldom visited by tourists. This full day tour offers a chance to really explore all that makes this region so beautifully unique.
