Charter a private cruise aboard our traditional gulets - spacious teak-built yachts, ideal for leisurely cruising the islands and bays along the rugged Lycian coast. The perfect family or group holiday; relax on a sunbed with a drink or grab a snorkel and jump in the warm sea. A gulet cruise is surprisingly affordable - similar to a medium priced hotel.
No experience with boats is required, as our captain and crew will not only navigate but also act as host and chef, preparing all your meals.
- Breakfast is a traditional Turkish breakfast, typically including cheese, olives, organic honey, eggs, yoghurt, tomato, cucumbers, jam and plenty of fresh bread.
- Lunch is 3-4 different vegetarian Turkish dishes, such as seasonal vegetables, Turkish rice, green beans, pasta dishes and salads.
- Dinner is barbeque (chicken, fish or kofte meatballs) and various turkish mezes such as humus, aubergine, broad beans, ezme and potato salad.
Our gulets range from 16m -19m, with 6-8 ensuite cabins suitable for groups of up to 12. Despite the sails, most of your trip will use the engine, as winds are typically very calm. The rear deck of the boat is a large seating area shaded from the sun, with dining table and chairs - this is where we mostly hang out and chat. At the side of the boat the barbeque hangs over the water for safety. Further along there are steps that lower into the sea, and a simple handheld shower. At the front of the boat are sun loungers for everyone, perfect for a nap after a swim, and a sitting area at the prow. With warm night time temperatures, many guests choose to sleep on the deck and watch the stars at night. We always find a quiet bay to moor in the evening.
Backed by the Taurus mountains, the land here is fed by springs and covered in pine forest, flowers and olive trees. The sea is cool in spring, warming up by June, and stays warm enough to comfortably swim until December. It's exceptionally clear, and with white rocks below gives rise to the word "turquoise". Stretching from Fethiye to Antalya, the rugged coastline was once home to the ancient Lycian civilisation. Much of the coastline remains almost inaccessible by land, making it ideal for a peaceful private cruise among the hidden bays and islands. On a typical day we'll visit 3-4 different locations, generally focusing on nature rather than calling to ports. As well as swimming, guests can enjoying snorkelling, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and optionally diving or paragliding can be arranged.
We will be happy to arrange airport transfer for our guests, from Antalya or Dalaman airports in Turkey, or Rhodes or Kastellorizo airports in Greece.
