The centre opened in September 2006 . The building is owned by the Monaghan County Council.The management company is Coral Leisure, the franchise consists of 9 leisure centres across the country. Coral leisure is renowned as a national market leader in the leisure industry, recognised for our expertise and appeal to all segments of the community through the provision of exciting innovative programming and to be valued by our customers and employees.

Parking
Dedicated Disabled Parking spaces are clearly marked and signposted in close proximity to the main entrance.
Reception Area
The entrance to the Leisure centre is clearly marked and identified.
A hearing enhancement system (induction loop,) is provided in the building including the appropriate signage to indicate the system is available.
There is a lift provided behind the reception desk to make the access to our 1st floor easy. All instructions within the lift are audio and brailed
Changing Facilities
Individual toilet/changing facilities are available for all disabled persons - accessible changing room, in an appropriate location and distance from the pool. All fully equipped with pull cord alarm system.
Pool Environment
6 lane 25m swimming Pool, fully equipped with Hoist for easy access for persons with mobility impairments.
Relaxation area – sauna & steam room.
There are clearly identifiable lockers that are allocated to people with a disability. They are appropriately located beside the individual changing facility.
