Originally a residence of the Takanabe feudal lord, then transformed into a traditional hotel until 1982, this building has a lot of history. The old lady who gives tours at this museum is nice, spunky, and very knowledgeable, but does not speak English. The tour is very interesting and tells you a lot of the history of the area, but you will not get as much out of it if you don't understand Japanese.
