A complex houses numerous royal and impressive tombs of ruling Talpur dynasty who conquered and ruled over Sindh as well some other parts of present-day Pakistan from 1784 AD to 1843 AD and later, were then defeated and overthrown by the British East India Company in 1843 at the Battle of Miani led by General Charles James Napier.
