The Surf Lodge and Pub is a heritage building on the north shoreline of beautiful Gabriola Island. Gabriola is located in the southern Gulf Island's of the Georgia Straight; situated between Vancouver Island and Coastal mountains. The view from the lodge is breathtaking and during the summer season we can claim one of the best sunsets in the world.
The Surf has eight rooms in the lodge and three cabins available for over night accommodations. The Surf is almost a century old log framed lodge. The accommodations are rustic; but comfortable, six rooms have oceanfront views. Total over night capacity at the lodge is 32 patrons.
The Surf has both a Pub and a Diner available to service clients; both offer friendly local service, reasonably priced drinks and high quality food, each with panoramic oceanfront views.
The Lodge is a popular place for weddings, small conferences and private gatherings. The great hall has a massive open faced fireplace in the middle of the room. Private bookings inquiries can be made contacting the Surf Lodge. A 'Special events, banquet and catering catalogue' can be made available upon request
