Java Jack's opened its doors in 2000 with a point of difference of fresh, tasty local food and fare (and has not been deep fried) as well as offering unique local arts and crafts that are one of a kind. JJ's showcases and elevates typical Newfoundland with enhancements on usual common fare with traditional and local protein sources as well as indigenous berries made into jams, preserves and condiments. It is a seasonal business that offers great coffee, baked goods and casual fine dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It operates 7 days a week from first of June to end of September. Reservations are recommended for dinner service at 5, 6:30 and 8:00pm seatings.
