Enjoy spectacular wilderness scenery, while having conversation about Alaska and Yukon, given by the (often) #1 tour on Trip Advisor under Things To Do in Skagway. We hope to see bear, moose, goat, sheep, lynx, wolf, fox and ptarmigan while driving the Klondike Hwy. We will stop about a dozen times to take photos and explore on the way to Emerald Lake, which is 70 miles away from Skagway. You will have time for lunch at one of three restaurants in Carcross. Cost of lunch is not included in the tour rate.
This tour begins at 7:30am, before the big tour busses leave town, and ends at 2:30pm back in Skagway, after a nice day with your private tour guide, friends and family. We are custom, so if you would like to leave Skagway at a different time, let us know. Your private guide has lived in Skagway for more than 5 years and loves it here. Tour options are available. Join us for a visit to Michelle Phillip's Tutshi Dog Mushing Camp, where she keeps her team of Iditarod Huskies. Take a dog cart ride behind her team of dogs or just pet the puppies. It's up to you. Walk across the Yukon Suspension Bridge if you dare. Take your picnic lunch on a hike into the wilderness. Pan for Gold from a creek or lake! Ride the White Pass Train; we will reserve your tickets for you, if you'd like this extra option. Please ask us for pricing and availability of these tour extras.
Prices are per vehicle, not per person. Our tours are private. You will need to bring your PASSPORT on this tour.

7:30am: Meet your guide, who will be wearing a blue coat and holding a Beyond Skagway Tour sign, at the end of the pier.
