Talkeetna Air Taxi (TAT) is the oldest air taxi of its kind in Talkeetna. TAT was founded in 1947 and was originally named Talkeetna Air Service by Don Sheldon, a legendary bush pilot who gained fame as the pioneer of glacier landings and mountain rescues in and around Denali. Several other aviators well known in the industry and throughout Alaska have owned TAT, including Lowell Thomas, Jr., former lieutenant governor of Alaska and son of the famous broadcaster.

1) SOUTHSIDE EXPLORER
A robust introduction to Denali and the Alaska Range. Follow the river systems of Talkeetna across the Susitna Valley into an incredible landscape of icefalls, glaciers, and snowy peaks.

2) MOUNTAIN VOYAGER
All the awe-inspiring scenic essentials. Enter further into the heart of the Alaska Range to explore seemingly endless glaciers, massive mountains, and the majesty of Denali itself.

With Glacier Landing: $385 per person - 1 ¾ hours


3) GRAND DENALI
The definitive tour of Denali that covers more of the Alaska Range than any other tour available. An unforgettable experience that includes the many faces of North America's tallest mountain in addition to features included in the other tours.
$325 per person - 1 ½ hours
With Glacier Landing: $420 per person - 2 hours

4) SUMMIT TOUR
This high-elevation expedition soars above Denali at over 20,000 ft and is a one-of-a-kind tour for adventurous travelers that explores the Alaska Range from a unique, towering perspective. Must be 12 years or older and in good health. 6 Passengers minimum.
$450 per person- 2 hours with glacier landing

Land on a glacier at the base of Denali and experience the excitement of standing among the great peaks; the immense scale will astound you. Enjoy the sun, snow, and the unique sounds of the glacier. Make sure your camera batteries are fully charged—this is an excellent photo opportunity!

**A 5% Federal Transportation Tax will be added to the above prices on the day of your flight.
Continuing in 2017: There is also a park entrance fee of $10 per person required when making a glacier landing (there is no fee for children 16 yrs and under). This fee is good for a week so you can also use it at the Denali Park Entrance. If you have a “National Parks Pass” or other all-inclusive National Park Pass you are covered already.
