Mission Statement: Theater Works provides opportunities for children, patrons and artists to experience theater that inspires, enriches and enlightens through the experience of the performing arts.

Vision Statement: To be a significant cultural resource for Peoria and the West Valley, improving the quality of life through the expression and experience of the performing arts.

This is the 31th season of Theater Works, non-profit theater that provides the most comprehensive programming of any performing arts organization in the West Valley. Drawing more than 130,000 patrons to its programming last season, Theater Works’ expansion of artistic offerings has engaged more audiences than ever before and drawing them to the West Valley. This past season, Theater Works received the West Valley Arts Council’s 2015 Champion of the Arts Award, The “Uniquely Peorian” Award from the Peoria Chamber of Commerce, “Not-for Profit Partner of the Year” by the Peoria Unified School District and four ariZoni Awards. Last season’s FOLLIES was named one of “The Best of Phoenix Theater Season” for 2014-15 by the Arizona Republic.

Theater Works’ extensive programs for youth include full-scale productions (winners of two ariZoni Awards in 2015 including Best Overall Youth Production), year-round classes and camps, and touring troupes that bring music, drama, and dance to major events and festivals, as well as senior centers and schools. Theater Works received the 2014 Nonprofit Collaboration Award from the Peoria Education Foundation.
