The views are always best from the saddle. With one of the largest privately owned herds in Arizona, we have the right horse for every guest – from first-time trailblazers to life-long riders. Guests are carefully matched with their horse for the duration of their stay, based on riding experience, height, weight and riding ambitions. Our extensive riding program accommodates the experienced horse owner, the “first-time” rider and all riders in between and our greatest reward is seeing guests and horses well matched in ability and personality.
We offer a wide variety of rides (trail rides to specialty social rides) every day of the week except SUNDAY, which is always the horses’ day off.
Our friendly wranglers offer riding lessons which will help you improve your skills, overcome past experiences and develop more confidence. The charge is $20 per person for one hour, paid directly to your wrangler.
Children 8 years and older may qualify for our fast rides, mountain rides and all day rides. Children between 5 and 8 years old will enjoy our slow rides. Children under 5 may experience the thrill of riding on a safe and comfortable lead line ride guided by one of our staff.
Comfort is never appreciated more than after a physically active day. A glass of wine on the patio, an invigorating massage or relaxing soak in the hot tub, a healthy home-style dinner at sunset, and a good night’s sleep on a pillow-top bed make your day complete. A premium advantage of a vacation at White Stallion Ranch is that we do all the cooking for you. We offer a variety of meal options to please meat lovers, vegetarians and guests with dietary restrictions. We use fresh ingredients and home-style recipes to serve flavorful meals. Snacks are always available, including fresh fruit, chips and salsa, peanuts and our famous homemade trail mix. Coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, hot teas, ice teas and lemonade are available all day.
When not riding, spend time in the heated swimming pool, redwood hot tub, movie theater, game room, petting zoo, tennis court, multi-sport court with full basketball court, bar, fitness center or bird & butterfly garden. Roping dummies for improving your cowboy skills are also a popular activity. Guided hikes are a terrific way to way explore and learn more about the desert and mountains without leaving the Ranch.
Full American Plan Rates include: lodging, meals, riding and daily ranch activities, a weekly exhibition rodeo and evening entertainment. Rates do not include Beverages from the Bar, Massage Therapy or Riding Lessons.
