Dogwood Hills Guest Farm is a unique, hands on farm experience for all ages. Whether you want to sit on the deck and look out over the pastures from the hot tub, or get you hands dirty and help in the barn, it's your choice. Dogwood Hill is a working homestead farm where you can stay in your own private, spacious and fully equipped farmhouse. Daily activities can include: milking, feeding the animals, collecting eggs, playing with the goats, watching baby chicks. planting or harvesting seasonal goodies, relaxing form the fast pace of everyday, stargazing, bird watching, and enjoying life on the farm.
You will enjoy the use of a spacious farm house while you are our guests on the farm. We hope that you will feel at home and take time to relax as well as enjoy all there is to do on the farm and in the surrounding countryside.
You will have the house to yourself. It is set apart from our farm house and barn. You can enjoy a private stay or come down to the barn and take in all the farm has to offer. The goats love to take folks on hikes out in the back 40!
Your hosts will interact as much or as little as you desire. If you prefer to have a private getaway, or a fun filled, busy day on the farm, we can do either or some of both. We are minutes from the Buffalo National River, The Buffalo River Trail and lots of great nooks to explore. Check out the Aux Arc Suspension Bridge, The Ratchford Buffalo Farm, Caverns and creeks. Enjoy the local flavor with great catfish, BBQ and Chocolate Rolls. Reminisce with the family at the Kenda Drive In and savor old fashioned sour dough bread at Serenity Farms.
