Kirby Landing Marina & Motel is located about 50 miles SW of Hot Springs, Arkansas, on US Army Corps of Engineers' Lake Greeson. Nestled in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains, Lake Greeson provides miles and miles of natural shoreline, open water for boating, and numerous coves where you can always find a bit of privacy for your fishing and boating pleasure. Along with the Bear Creek ATV Trail system, Lake Greeson offers one of the best in recreational opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages.
Kirby Landing Marina offers lodging, a full service marina, fishing supplies, mooring for personal boats, as well as fishing and recreational rental boats. The Cove Cafe offers full breakfasts and specialty sandwiches from Memorial Day through Labor Day. You can hike or ride the Bear Creek ATV Trail (dirt bikes and mountain bikes are welcome), swim anywhere in the lake, ski/wakeboard/tube behind a boat, experience a guided fishing trip, tour Lake Greeson, wildlife watch including Bald Eagles, hike, watch wildlife and/or even hunt game on the Corps lands surrounding the lake.
Lodging includes the Floating Cabin and the Kirby Landing Motel with a fish-cleaning and a deer-cleaning station with running water and lights for late night game dressing. The Motel offers 12 rooms, each with queen size beds, a futon, dining table/4 chairs, full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave & coffee maker. We furnish Folgers regular & decaf coffee in each room, and the kitchen is furnished with the tools needed to cook a large family meal. Each room has a flat-screened TV with Dish Network programming; bathrooms have shower/tub combos except for the two rooms that are wheelchair-accessible and equipped with walk-in showers. Each room also has a back patio with a table, four chairs and large yard with immediate access to Lake Greeson. Our Motel is located right along the Bear Creek ATV Trail with easy access from the Motel ATV parking area. You can enjoy your first cup of coffee in the mornings and very likely watch deer, turkey or squirrels as you relax on the back patio while you listen to the birds wake up as well.
The Floating Cabin is moored on the water near the houseboat slips and offers all the comforts of home. Come relax or fish from the deck of your personal floating cabin. It has a 16' X 10' deck, two full and one twin bed plus a Futon, TV/DISH Network programming, full kitchen with bathroom and shower, grill and deck furniture.
