Join Us On A Fully Guided Kayak Eco Tour in the Heart of Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Quality trumps Quantity at Fin Expeditions.
We are a local, family-owned operation and are very proud to be rated number one on TripAdvisor. We'd say this comes from hard work but it is much more than that. We strive to treat every guest like family. From the moment you show up through our farewell we want you to feel comfortable. We know what it's like to travel and always do what we can to take some of that load off our guests. Just show up and let us take care of the rest.

Our tours are run by local guides who are knowledgeable, friendly, and know the area inside and out. Let them take you off the beaten path into places you wouldn't have discovered on your own... to places where there are no unnatural noises. Just the sound of nature. We are a Quiet expedition (most of the time).

Unlike other kayak tour companies, we limit our groups to a maximum of 10 guests. Our average group size is 6 people. We are firm believers that smaller groups deliver a more personal experience. We limit group sizes to insure we can give you more personal attention. Just imagine what happens to a group of animals when a large kayak group paddles into their habitat. Large groups require the guide to speak very loudly to communicate. We provide more personal discussions regarding the things we see.

We believe by fully equipping our guests, we will provide an upscale experience.
We use high-end kayaks with High-Back Seats for your comfort.
We wash all kayaks and life jackets after each use.
Look for clean equipment in any quality outfitter.

Search for Manatee, Dolphin, Stingray and many other species of birds, fish, and mammals on a small and personal tour of our tropical lagoon.

Fin Expeditions offers wonderful daytime Eco tours as well as world-class nighttime bioluminescent tours.

Bioluminescence: During the summer months the water of the Banana River Lagoon comes alive after sunset with Bioluminescence. A speeding school of mullet swimming under your kayak looks like hundreds of green bottle rockets going off underwater. A manatee or stingray moves much slower underwater, giving a ghostly glow to the illumination. Swirl your kayak paddle or drop your hand into the water to create wild patterns of light. Any movement causes tiny dinoflagellates to emit light. Little is known about these under-appreciated creatures, but they are essential to the existence of most marine life. Tours are 90 minutes and are suitable for beginners. The best time to go is at the darkest hours of the night, five days before or after a new moon.

Cocoa Beach's Thousand Islands is a group of natural, modified, and spoil islands in the Banana River Lagoon.
We will guide you into the labyrinths of the mangrove forest, with keyhole openings, overhead canopy and watery trails that will twist your sense of direction. People from all over the world have ranked this experience as good as any kayak tour in the world.
