Hello we are Dwayne and Becky Durgin of Meadow Creek Farm of Maine. We offer horse drawn wagon rides to all kinds of events, birthday parties,anniversaries, private wagon rides during the holidays, engagements. Our Team of Belgians Bill and Ben are half brothers born 17 days apart and have been together ever since. We broke and trained them at 2 years old and they started doing wagon rides at 3 years old.
We have also added another big Belgian and his name is Duke he is 12 years old and weighs 2250 lbs. He hauls his own wagon for some rides, but he likes to do weddings and carry the bride to the wedding in our pure white princess carriage with red velvet interior , he is dressed in white colors to match the bride. He is most happy when people are loving him and taking his picture.
You will see Bill and Ben doing rides almost anywhere in Maine and New Hampshire and at times you will see them hauling the princess carriage.
Duke also has been in Maine and New Hampshire doing rides but mostly wedding. He is loved for his big size but gentle soul. He likes to move his nose in your hair and get close to you.
Our goal is to please the bride on her wedding day, we want to make you the princess on your special day. If we are doing public rides all the little kids know Bill and Ben through out the state of Maine. So find out where Meadow Creek Farm of Maine is going to be on any given weekend and come out to meet Bill and Ben and now even meet Duke doing this thing.
We have been double booked every Saturday in September and October, so if you are interested in having us do an event for you please call early to get the date that you want.
